Regarding the glow stick plan (alternative title : Drama Sucks)
Posted: August 29, 2010 in UncategorizedSo I read on some Chinese forums that people think waving glow sticks for Adam is “copying”. Well, whatever, let me give you my 0.02 here :
I’m organizing this glow stick thing all by myself, and I honestly do not care what others think of this plan. This is not called “copying”, it is a torch passed on by the US fans to the int’l fans, we are giving this gift to Adam with his US fans’ blessing.
So many people in Hong Kong can only interpret this beautiful gesture as “copying”, because they are always copying other people themselves. They do not stop and think about the meaning behind Adam fans all over the world doing the same thing for him which speaks tremendous value of our shared love and respect for Adam.
It is also a nod to the US fans who first came up with this idea and executed it beautifully and touched Adam and made him happy. I do not see anything wrong with that.
We are all in this glamily together and I do not want any drama. People who do not agree with it can go on and do whatever as long as they don’t scream their lungs out during his ballads.
I will not change my plan just because some people are not interested in it. Adam has always stayed true to who and what he is, and I cannot call myself a fan if I doubt myself just because some strangers on the internet do not agree with me
All we need in this world is some love <3<3<3 (and less drama)
